Green with Christmas Cheer

Hey everyone!

I have been using some wonderful bits and pieces in the

Golden Christmas Card Making Mega Kit

by Sherri Baldy My Besties Designs.

Check out all the goodies that come in this kit

I started with a plain tag and added the paper from the kit and roughed

up the edges a little and ran distress ink across the edges.

I added the big floral trim to the bottom edge of the tag and then

ripped up a piece of scrap from one of the other papers that I already used.

I then took the shimmer netting and gathered one edge and glued on top

of that paper making a ruffle effect.

I stamped my image and colored with copics.

I took a spellbinders oval die and cut her out, leaving her feet hang over.

Once I had her completed and placed, I added the star and circle 

rhinestone trim around the edge overlapping the netting.

Here is my project.

I have used a Darice embossing folder and a Martha Stewart punch for

two of the rosettes edges.

I decorated the centers with perler bead melted beads to make enamel dots.

Hot Cocoa

Hey everyone.

It is SVG Saturday at My Besties Designs

Today is all about thinking of warm Hot Chocolate as

fall is beginning here.

For this project I have used 3 SVG's to make me a warm cup of Cocoa.

The first is the cup card.

I added to snowflake border for my marshmallows,

and last but not least is the adorable bear mittens.

I added a panel inside to hold a packet of Hot Cocoa.

This would make a great small gift to give to neighbors or friends

with the upcoming weather changes or for a bonfire night as a small

appreciation to your friends for enjoying a pleasant time.

My Besties by Sherri Baldy SVG Saturday September 26

Hello everyone!

Time to think outside of the box.  SVG's are easy to use and with some

simple ones you can create what you can invision.

I made todays project with just 1 My Besties SVG.

I have only used the leaf cluster, but cut it 8 times and formed

a circle for a frame around my bottle cap embellie.

For my Besties girl, I just printed a printable and used

a 1" punch to capture her face and attach to the bottle cap.

What I used from the kit for this project is shimmer netting, floral lacy trim,

polka dot ribbon, the snowflake and a flower.II also used two different papers

 included in the paper pack.

I stamped my image and used copic markers to color her with 

a brown watercolor pencil to shade the darkest areas.

A Golden Christmas

Hello everyone!

Today I have for you a card made with the 

Golden Christmas Card Making Kit

by Sherri Baldy My Besties

There is paper, a My Besties Stamp, trim, bling, flowers

and tons of other goodies all packed in a box ready

to make a project with.

There are other kits available as well.  Check back often for new kits.

Here is my first project with this kit.

For this project I used some ribbon trim, papers and a gold embellishment on my tag

 from the kit along with the stamped image.

The gold paper is included in the kit and makes a great extra touch.

Tuesday Color Challenge at the Outlaws Sept. 22

Welcome to the Color Challenge at The Outlawz!

For the month of September we have

All Dressed Up as our sponsor

For this week we have a wonderful challenge

We are making shaped or fancy fold cards.

This project was so fun I decided to have a go with 2

Let's look at the first.

This little teapot just screamed for a floral motif.

The template and cutting file for this (for cutting machine owners)

This second card was a labor of love.

I have been wanting to try a cascading card, but was putting it

off with the thought that it was hard.

Let me tell, you, try it!  It took longer to make all the

embellies than it did for the actual card.

I love this. 

I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the top edge.

The flowers are also a cutting file from

Birdscards.com.

The flourishes are from BoBunny, Flourish Dies.  There are 3 in the set.

Vintage Beauty for My Besties SVG Saturday

Hello Everyone!   I have for you today a simple, but oh so big

statement, note card for you.

I have used 2 different SVG's for this project.
