Oh So Colorful

This is my first larger piece of pergamano parchment work.  I was introduced to this not very long ago and have been itching to try something new.

I used a My Besties image from Sherri Baldy's new release, img616

I used copic markers to color her.
I felt these flowers framed her well.

Hope to see you again

Little Sprite

I was introduced to this line of stamps and have fallen in love.

This is Linnea Sprite from Aurora Wings by Mitzi Sato-Wiuff

I used DCWV The Preppy Princess Pack paper for the background.
I was given a stamp set, k i memories icons that make up the green and pink images.
There are many great stamps in this set that will add a nice element to any card.

I used copics  to color her.  Can't wait to try her in other color variations.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting.

Everyday is a Journey

Hello Everyone!

Everyday is a Journey

There is adventure and pleasures in everyday life.  Live each day to the fullest

I have created this with a Sherri Baldy My Besties IMG603

I made a twisted easel for the base.
I found this wonderful napkin and had to use it on this project
with the napkin transfer technique.
Loved how it came out.  I turned it into a tag to highlight the Eiffel Tower.
I used a portion to carry through to the bottom.

I would like to enter this in challenges

More than a Card

Hello Everyone!

Today I created something more than just a card.  This is one to display and hold a pad of post-it notes or any cube of paper.  This is for a friend of mine, for her birthday who always has a cube of paper sitting on her desk.  I felt it was time to dress that cube up.

I started with a 6x6" base card and scored at 5 3/4" and at 6 1/4" to allow for the card to lay flat when closed to accommodate for the box.  I then scored the front of the card to make the easel.
The box is made with a 4x4" piece of cardstock and scored at 1/2" on each side.
I cut the front panel at 5x5" and centered in the front of the card base, making sure to only add adhesive to the bottom half of the panel.
Sentiment was framed on a Spellbinders die S5-218 Card Creator.

I used DCWV paper pack in The Preppy Princess Stack.

I used a Sherri Baldy My Besties Fancy Pants

I used copic markers to color her and bring her to life.
I framed her on a Spellbinders die Labels 25 .

I added silk flowers using this technique
and paper roses using a 6 petal flower punch in various sizes.

Here is another look at the finished project

I am entering this project into these challenges

All Boxed Up

Hello Everyone!
Were is this month going!

This is the color palette and photo for this weeks challenge
for The Outlawz Tuesday Color Challenge.
Anything but a Card

For the month of May, our sponsor is LunaGirl

There are many wonderful and beautiful images.

This is my take on this weeks challenge for the Tuesday Color Challenge.
All the DT did an amazing job with their projects.

.

I dug into my Crate Paper and found these beautiful patterned papers and felt that they complimented each other well.

I use my Cricut Explore to cut this box from the Box It Up cartridge # M4D1B3
Paisley Box.

The flowers are from my trusty Fiskars flower punch.  Once again altered from 2 punched flowers.

Wish on a Star

Hello everyone!

Star bright, star light, first star I see tonight.........

While watching my daughter play outside, I remembered back to my childhood
and wishing on the stars. We moved here just a year ago and this is a new beginning to many new memories for our family.  Watching her sit on the tree swing that we installed in our big oak tree, I wanted to create something to remember.

I created this with Sherri Baldy's image Swinging on a Star img213.

I used Chromatix markers on this project.  I have had them sitting around and love some of the colors
that I have and wanted to give them a workout.

I wanted to add some more stars and found these wonderful diecuts on http://www.birdscards.com

I would like to enter this in the challenge at

Flowers make it all Better

Hello Everyone!!

I wanted to share with you this little creation.

I used Sherri Baldys My Besties image img692.
Lil Muffy Mopsy.
I used copic markers to color her.
I used Spellbinders Card Creator Devine Eleoquence cut and emboss to frame her
and used the larger die to mount her on.
For the flowers, I used several different techniques.
I used a 6 petal punch, 5 petal punch in two different sizes to make the roses and last but not least a
 beautiful rolled flower .
I tried patterned papers for the roses and love the effect that was accomplished.
This was a very fun project making all the flowers.

I would like to enter this project into:

My Besties Spanish-#4 Anything Goes

My Besties Dutch Girl Designs-Anything Goes with handmade flowers

Flower Garden

Hello everyone!  The sun has been shining  and the flowers  growing.

This week here is our inspirational photo to create our project.

For the month of May, our sponsor is LunaGirl

There are many wonderful and beautiful images.
I have enjoyed working with these images.

This is my DT project for The Outlawz for the Tuesday Color Challenge.
I invite you to come have a look and join in with us.
All the DT projects are outstanding.

It was hard to pick one, so I decided to bring them all together.
I chose these three images to represent a flower garden in all its glory.
I used copic markers to color and highlight the wonderful features of each image.
I brought the purple in from the front door of the inspirational photo.
