Believe in Miracles

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Everyone!!
It is the time of year to believe in miracles.

Today I am working with a New Release image from

What I have for you today is a cute little pop up book book card.
I found the tutorial HERE.
Beccy's Place has tons of card folding instructions for you
and makes a great resource.

The inside sentiment is a stamp by Stampabilities.

Here is the template from Beccy's Place so you can see how to cut the inside.
I alter mine to make the panel smaller.

Thank you for having a peek and can't wait to see you all
in the 2016 YEAR.

Hot Cocoa with Flair

Hello everyone!  Ever need one of those last minute small gifts with something
already in the house as you don't have time to run out and get something?
Well, I had one of those moments as my Mail Lady is leaving on vacation after
her shift today til after Christmas.  Yes, I live in a small enough town that
she spends a few minutes talking to you if you happen to be seen by her.
Love it!!
I made a hot cocoa sleeve and gave it my flair for a one of a kind gift.

I just measured how wide and doubled that and added 1" for a 1/2" side, cut it
and then scored in 1/2" on both sides.  Then I measured the height of the packets
and added 1/2" and cut.  I glued the 1/2' sides on top of each other and made
a tube to slide the packet into.
I took some paper and cut to fit the front and stamped FOR YOU
and attached to the tube.  Took some ribbon and glued to half of the front
added my digi image over that.  Just wrap your ribbon around and tie a bow.
I just happened to have a spoon mold, bought at Michaels, and peppermint candies.
Put the candies in my blender and chopped them up, put in the mold in my oven at
300* for about 20 minutes and now I have some sweet stir sticks for
the hot cocoa.  Dipped them in chocolate and attached to the sleeve.

Now I have 7 more peppermint spoons to make some more little
gifts to give out.  I guess I better get busy.

They image I used is Sherri Baldy My Besties img932
You can find this one and many more adorable digis at

Hope you have liked today project.

Time for a Change-For You

Christmas is approaching and the New Year
is not far behind.  I am Christmas Carded out.  Is anyone else?
I love the Holidays, but needed a nice distraction and think I have found it.

Today I have for you a girly bright and cheery little sweetie!

My image is a Sherri Baldy My Besties image img929.  This is from the
Bloomin Besties line of digis. You can find these and more at

I have colored her with copics.

Flowers: RV04, 10
Clothes: RV00, R81, 85
Eyes: E50, 53, E000
Leaves: YG11, YG03
I took warm grey W0 and W1 and shaded all around her.

I started with a 6 x 6 base and layered with black and pink Recollections cardstock.
I used a Martha Stewart corner punch for the pink and also embossed just the top above the
I used a Spellbinders Celebrations pierced square die to cut out my image and mounted on
black cardstock and raised with fun foam.  I added a Darice Symetrical Swirl die cut
to the top of my image and added Wild Orchard Crafts mini sweetheart blossoms.
I used another Martha Stewart punch for my sentiment to add a decorative edge.
I finished off the outside with pink gemstones in each corner.

For my inside sentiment, I have used  Stampabilities 811661

I hope you have enjoyed todays creation.

and in my search for something fun and easy for her and I to do together
I came across the Geo ornament.

template for you to use.  I made this one at 1 1/2 ", however, you
can resize to what size you would like to make.  Remember, you 20 to
complete the sphere.

I also have made a video to show you how to put it all together with a cutting machine and
without a cutting machine ,a simple circle punch will work for you to complete this project.

Fun with Tags

Hey everyone!

It is time for our SVG Saturday at My Besties Designs Color & Create.

Today I have a a cute tag from Sherri Baldy My Besties SVGs.

For this project I have used the 7 layered scallop SVG to make the trees.

Just a simple fun way to play with Sherri Baldy My Besties SVGs.

The tag is from the Little Sweeties CD and is SVG cut #23
I just used the shape for this and punched a hole at the top.
There are several SVGs that you could choose from to make
tags or just about anything you can image.

You can find these and more at MyBestiesShop.com

Hope you have enjoyed todays project.  What do you think?  Tell me what you
can image to make with these!

Also check out some of my DT mates and their creations.

Happy crafting!

Poinsettia Macy by Digital Delights by Louby Loo

Hey everyone!
Sorry that I am running behind, but I have a sweet little digi

This is Poinsettia Macy.

You can find her HERE

I created a tag base and just began adding elements as I wasn't sure what
direction I really wanted to go in.  But my lack of knowing has turned
into a little piece that I am proud of.
Sometimes we all get a creativity block and this was one of those times.

The tree, snowflake and flourish came from Cricut Design Space Library.
My lace rosette was just a left over piece of lace I wrapped around to form
a rosette and added a poinsettia the center to go with my girl.

I have used a mixture of copics and Prismacolor colored pencils
to color her.

You can get her in black and white or a colored image.

I hope you have enjoyed todays project!
