Monochromatic Color Challenge at the Outlawz

Hey everyone! It is Tuesday and time for another

challenge to begin for the Tuesday Color Challenge at the Outlawz.

A new month has began which means a new sponsor, but we have sadly learnt

that Sweet Pea Stamps is closing down on Nov. 25th.

However, the winner will receive 4 of the digis that we have used

for this month.

This week here is the challenge

This week's challenge is to make a project in monochrome or ombre!

My Besties 3D & More Challenge Guest DT

Hey everyone!!

I am excited to share with you a project I made as a

Guest DT for My Besties 3D & More Challenge.

I am the guest DT for November Challenge #17

Anything Goes with a Bestie.

I made a mixed media 5" x 7" canvas with img146 Prim-A-Dona and

Sherri Baldy Designer Paper in Butterfly Dreams.

This was a fun project that I enjoyed doing. Picking all the bits and pieces

and just playing around.

For this project I have used the following supplies:

5" x 7" canvas

Faber Castell Gesso

Ranger texture paste

Stencil- Tim Holtz burlap

Distress Inks-various colors

Stampendous Bubble Gum ink pad

Airdry clay

Mold for embellishments

Frantage embossing enamels

Sherri Baldy Designer download papers in Butterfly Dreams

I started with printing my Butterfly Dreams paper on regular thin paper.

I took various ripped pieces and with the gesso applied to the canvas randomly.

Once dry, I took my stencil and texture paste and added randomly to the canvas

and used a heat gun to dry. You could even place texture paste down and
apply a texture with fabric or any other items you have laying around.

I took the lace and chipboard elements and applied with gesso onto

the canvas.

Let it dry!!!!!

I took distress inks and the bubble gum ink and applied once again

randomly to the canvas .

I added the Frantage embossing enamel to areas on the canvas

and to the various embellishments

I mounted My Besties with foam pop dots and all my embellies with glue dots.

I have provided for you my copic choices for coloring her.

I did her in a monochromatic color tone with pops of pink.

Dreaming on a Cloud

For my second DT project I am using

Huggable Bear Sheet printable # 10

Also for this project, I am using Sherri Baldy My Besties

SVG, Cloud with dangling star and hearts.

I have used a simple circle card and turned it into a

easel card to showcase the cloud with Huggable Bear.

World Wide Open Design Team Monthly Challenge #5

For my DT project, I am using Frilly Tail Talula

I started with watercoloring the background with subtle colors
as I wanted to add more pops of color on top.
I used a Tim Holtz stencil in Bubble and inked with a darker shade of blue
I hand drew some larger bubbles and accented them in random spots.
I then added some puff paint dots in various spots.

I cut some "bubbles" on my cricut and placed behind her with

some cheesecloth.

The seahorse and shells are Momenta Cut & Emboss Dies

I purchased from Hobby Lobby

The coral is from Spellbinders and is actually in the Leaf dies.

I have used copics to color her

Skin: E000, E00, E53

Hair: E0, 51, 53, 33

Tail: YG11, YG03, B13, BG10

Flower: R85, R10
