Flowers make it all Better

Hello Everyone!!

I wanted to share with you this little creation.

I used Sherri Baldys My Besties image img692.

Lil Muffy Mopsy.

I used copic markers to color her.

I used Spellbinders Card Creator Devine Eleoquence cut and emboss to frame her

 and used the larger die to mount her on.

For the flowers, I used several different techniques.

I used a 6 petal punch, 5 petal punch in two different sizes to make the roses and last but not least a

 beautiful rolled flower .

I tried patterned papers for the roses and love the effect that was accomplished.

This was a very fun project making all the flowers.

Flower Garden

Hello everyone!  The sun has been shining  and the flowers  growing.

This week here is our inspirational photo to create our project.

For the month of May, our sponsor is LunaGirl

There are many wonderful and beautiful images.
I have enjoyed working with these images.

This is my DT project for The Outlawz for the Tuesday Color Challenge.

I invite you to come have a look and join in with us.
All the DT projects are outstanding.

It was hard to pick one, so I decided to bring them all together.
I chose these three images to represent a flower garden in all its glory.
I used copic markers to color and highlight the wonderful features of each image.
I brought the purple in from the front door of the inspirational photo.

A Mother's Tribute

This is my tribute to all the mothers out there.  Happy Mother's Day.  And definitely do whatever makes you happy.

This is this weeks  DT card at The Outlawz Challenges for the Tuesday Color Challenge.
We have a wonderful DT team for this group and all their cards are stunning.

Here is the palette we are to work with

For the month of May our spnosor is Luna Girl

Take a moment and have a look at all the wonderful images by Luna Girl.

This was a very fun project to work on.  The images just really speak for themselves.

I used a 6x6 card base to begin this project.

My background is by Crate Paper.

I used two images and colored in Copic markers and layered them with some added ribbon and stamins.

Sentiment is by Sheena Douglass from her A Little Bit Scenic Silhouette stamp set.

Let's start May with a Bang

I am excited to say that I have been invited to be a DT for The Outlawz Challenges for the Tuesday Color Challenge and for the Monthly Progressive.

I invite you to come have a look and meet some terrific people.

This is my card for the May Progressive.

  Everyone is to use the same digi stamp and you have the entire month to submit your card.

For this month, we are using a wonderful digi from  Ppinky Dolls

I used Copic markers to color her.

I framed her on a lovely die cut, that just seems to fit her so well.

I used a Fiskars punch to make the flowers.  I used 2 punched flowers and altered one to make the middle and second layer.

Added a few skeleton leaves and vines.

The sentiment is from Recollections in their rubber stamp set vintage.

Partners in Crime

My favorite artist released some new digis and this one is one that I absolutely fell in love with.

This is "Swirly Girls" Besties Cafe Friends by Sherri Baldy.

I used copic and spectrum noir markers to color.

I picked a twisted easel card for the bones on this one done in Recollections cardstock.

Sentiment stamp is by Inkadinkado.

Do Whatever Makes you Happy

Mother's Day is right around the corner.

This is a day to Do Whatever Makes you Happy.

I used a Sherri Baldy Digi stamp Img303.

I colored her with copic markers.

I used the sentiment from A Little Bit Scenic Silhouette stamp set by Sheena Douglass, which fits for a special day like Mother's Day.

Nothing is complete without a flower for mom.  This one is cut using a Cricut Explore and chalked with Peebles Classic chalk.

Background is embossed with Darice Damask folder.

I used Recollections cardstock.

Pretty Pretty Josephina

Good Day!!

Today I would like to share with you a adorable Sherri Baldy digi,

 img394Josephina.  You can find her at Scrapbook Stamp Society.

I felt that she deserved the spotlight on this card and kept it simple.

I used a Darice embossing folder and added a few stamped swirl images.

She didn't seem complete without the bow.  I gave her a double bow.

I colored her with copic markers in a two tone fashion that turned out beautifully.
