Apple Pie Blossom Mini Album

Right now the weather is warm, the smell of fresh pies baking
in the oven and all the goodies that goes with it has inspired me
to create this little album.

Capture all those little memories with this small album
made with the Apple Pie Blossom Pocket Letter Kit.  I have
created this for my inspiration project for
Come and visit us to see all the possibilities

You get two pocket letter printables, tags
and 2 element sheets in this kit that you could
mix and match to create with.

There are many possibilities for this.

I used this tutorial to inspire me to make my own.
You can find it HERE.

I adjusted my sizes for the overall project to accomidate 4x6 pages.

The apple tag and circle are from Cricut Design Space.
I just cut from one of the pocket letter panels
to match the papers throughout.

I also added a page to give me more space to add pictures.

Just print and cut out the tags to add inside.

Check out the other printables available to make
one for yourself.

You can find all the Pocket Letter Printables HERE

Or just use some printable papers, find them HERE

You can also find other tags and elements HERE

I hope you have enjoyed todays little make
and would love to see what you create.

Nellie and Dot the Dragon

I love shaped cards and came across this card die, on sale, and decided
to buy it and see what all I could make with it.  Well this is my first time
making a card with it and am absolutely in love with how it turned out.
Of course I have added other die cuts to finish embellishing it, but it
makes a good start with the base.

This is a Sizzix Thinlits called Ticket Fold A Long
Here are the dies that come in the package.

Here it is with it open.

The image I used for this is Nellie and Dot the Dragon from
Sherri Baldy My Besties.
Isn't she so cute with her little friend.

Come and visit us at Besties International Challenge Blog
for this month and see all the beautiful creations
with the optional theme of Fantasy/Fairytale.

Thanks for having a look today.
Until next time.

Bookmarks Make Great Small Gifts

Hey everyone!  I am a book lover, so today I would like to
share with you how to make your own bookmarks.
I also love to make bookmarks as small gifts throughout the year.
Have a few on hand, give with a book.

Let's start with what you will need.

I use these as the protector covers for my bookmarks.
You can get these at Dollar Stores, office supply stores or anywhere school and
office supplies are sold.

Since I make my own, you need a way to seal the edges
of your protector sleeve.  I use the We R Memory Keepers Fuse tool.
Simple and easy to use.  You could even use a sewing machine
and stitch the edges.  If you do, just make sure to cut your
sleeve larger to allow for the stitches.

I cut off a section.  I cut off 2 1/2 in. so when I seal the sides, I
have enough room to slide my bookmark in  .My bookmarks measure
2 1/4 in. wide.  You can customize this size
to however wide you would like your bookmark to be.  Just
remember to leave room for the edges to be sealed, so add at least
1/4 in to whatever your bookmark width is.

I just cut off the tab side.  I make sure to leave at least 8 in. as my
bookmarks are 7 in. long.

I have taken my fuse tool and sealed the two long sides
and the bottom only at this step.

For this one I have used  image                                              For this one I have used image
img381.  You can find HERE                                                  Hang in There.  Find HERE

Once you have your bookmark cut to size, your image colored, slide into
the protector sleeve we have created and seal the top with the fuse tool.
Add a tassel, hanging charm or just some ribbons by just punching
a hole or holes.

There are also printable bookmarks that you could also use.
You can find them HERE

I hope you have enjoyed todays little project.

Until next time

Love Makes Your Garden Grow

Hey Everyone!
Today I would like to share with you the stamp set
Love Makes Your Garden Grow by Sherri Baldy My Besties.

I have made a crisscross card that uses four of the stamps
in this set.

I used the adorable heart bush stamp for the outside and just
used a loopy die to cut it out.

For the inside pull out, I used the girl and the flowers
along with one of the sentiments.

Just think of all the ways you could use this stamp set.

You get 2 sentiments and 6 image stamps in this one.

Come check out all the stamp sets available over at

I hope you have enjoyed this little project.

May All Your Weeds Be Wildflowers

Sometimes just a simple card with a simple sentiment
makes things brighter for someone.
That is what I have created for a friend who has been having
a rough time lately.

I have used this gem as my DT project for

"May All Your Weeds Be Wildflowers"

I have been wanting to try these cuts on the cricut cartridge
Anna's Garden Cards and Embellishments

I love the look of the layering on them.

All these cuts are in the cricut library.
I took the inspiration from one of the scrapbook
layouts in the Make It Now Category.
Sentiment is a stamp from my stamp stash.

The card base is a 6x6 and just added all the
elements on top.

For the inside I kept it simple to just write the message
and sign it.

I used a Martha Stewart corner punch for the solid full pink panel
and then added the message card and signature tag.
These are Spellbinders Card Creator Devine Eleoquence

Here is some of the colors I have used in copics to color her.

Hope I have got your creative juices flowing with this one.
